Flouroescent pigments are usually based on formaldehyde. Since the 1st of January 2016, formaldehyde has been classified as carcinogen by the European Union. As a consequence, new, formaldehyde-free technologies are replacing former, formaldehyde containing technologies.
Some of the benefits of Aragen and Araqua are:
- Formaldehyde free fluorescent pigments
- Better light stability
- Better chemical stability
- Better heat stability
- For waterborne & solvent based formulations
